The MG12, MG15, and MG18 are professional miniature gooseneck condenser microphones designed for applications such as podium, presentation, meetings and teleconferencing. Known for their clarity, excellent sound quality and ease of operation, the MG12/15/18 have the ability to accurately capture and reproduce vocals from a comfortable distance. The MG12/15/18 are characterized with a uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern, helping to isolate the speaker from other ambient noise in the room or on the stage. The MG12/15/18 gooseneck mics are also available in a hypercardioid polar pattern for tighter pattern control (see models below). With a wide frequency range of 60 Hz - 19 kHz, the MG12/15/18 provide natural sound with exceptional transient response. The MG12/15/18 gooseneck system is equipped with a sophisticated dual preamp circuitry - one circuit located in the capsule housing and the other circuit built into the base of the XLR. This circuitry is internally balanced, insuring that the audio path will be isolated from hum and noise. In addition, the circuitry employs protection from RF and spurious emissions from cell phones and wireless GSM devices. The goosenecks may be mounted with the supplied flange mount (TM1218) or with an optional base with an internal shockmount (SMT1218R). The mics may also be used on a standard mic stand or in conjunction with the Audix ATS-10 table stand with lighted on-off switch. Manufactured with very high standards and tight tolerances, the MG12/15/18 features a machined brass body, field replaceable capsule, replaceable electronics, and a variety of optional accessories. The MG12/15/18 operate on phantom power of 18 - 52 Volts and are available in non-reflective black matte finish.

Parasound's NewClassic Model 2100 is a versatile two-channel preamplifier that's equally expert with venerable and modern technology, from vinyl to MP3. A low-noise phono input provides the correct gain and load for both MM and MC cartridges. The Model 2100 also enables you to upgrade your present surround sound system for serious two-channel, audiophile-quality listening. Infinity 1600a Features

Class D Subwoofer Amps
Efficiency is the benefit of the Infinity Reference Series Class D subwoofer amplifiers. A higher percentage of the power the amp extracts from the car's charging system is converted into output to the speakers, and less is wasted as heat. That is really important if you're trying to provide power to a 1000-watt amplifier. Class D technology turns the analog input signal into a series of pulses that can be amplified more efficiently by transistors used as switches, rather than valves. They're either on and operating at their most efficient level, or they're off. The pulses are converted back into an analog signal by an output filter.

CEA-2006-Compliant
All Infinity amplifiers are tested in accordance with CEA-2006, which provides a testing procedure to help customers compare amplifiers accurately--apples to apples. Specs are based on industry-accepted standards, rather than on the whims of amplifier companies' marketing departments. Look for the CEA-2006 logo when comparing amplifiers, to be sure you're getting the power you're paying for.

Amps That Don't Break
Infinity amplifiers are tested according to the strictest and most demanding reliability-testing regimen ever designed for car audio amplifiers. They are shaken, baked, frozen, dropped and shocked--all while they're operating. When they've passed all these tests, they are tested again. The result is a series of amplifiers that just don't break.

DBO Bass-Optimization Circuit
provides superior control and adjustability, compared to traditional bass-boost. DBO is a 2nd order high-pass filter that can be adjusted between 20Hz and 80Hz. The boost (or Q) adjustment boosts the signal above the highpass filter frequency. Used with a sealed box, it can help to increase output for more "fun" if it's set to about 45Hz. If it's used with a vented box, it should be set at or slightly below the tuned frequency of the box. That will prevent woofer unloading, and provide more output at the frequency where the box is tuned and the woofer's excursion is minimized--where it can handle more power.

Onboard Electronic Crossovers
Reference Series amplifiers include 2nd order (12dB/octave) slopes and are continuously variable from 32Hz to 200Hz.

Variable Bass-Boost
Provides up to 12dB of boost at 50Hz in the Reference Series full-range amplifiers.

Direct-Connect Terminals
Eliminate the need for additional solder-on or crimp-on terminals and provide an easy and reliable connection for power, ground and speaker wires.

Full-Range Preamp Outputs
Eliminates the need for signal splitters.

Concentrate on your music and not on the recording process with the easy-to-use Tascam DP-008 8-track digital Portastudio, which can capture CD-quality audio wherever you roam. Using a Secure Digital (SD) memory card, you can record two tracks simultaneously and work with up to eight tracks in a multi-track project.

You can use built-in microphones to grab ideas, plug condenser mics into the XLR inputs or plug a guitar directly in to lay tracks. The DP-008 also allows you to digitally bounce tracks to make room for more, and touches like editing and undo make recording stress-free.

Each track on the DP-008 has its own row of knobs for level, pan and effects, just like Tascam's classic cassette Portastudios of the past. The effects knob sends to a built-in stereo reverb processor with hall, room, stage and other effects. Each track also has EQ to tailor the sound for your mix. When your song is complete, mix it to a dedicated stereo track while riding levels and flipping pan as much as you want. You can export your mix, or even individual tracks, as a WAV file.
