Daking's Mic Pre 500 is a redesigned version of a single channel from their popular Mic Pre IV in a module format for use in 500 Series racks. Like the Mic Pre IV, the Mic Pre 500 uses Class A, fully-discrete transistor circuitry. The Mic Pre 500 uses a tri-color LED metering setup and accepts both line and hi-Z inputs via the 1/4" jack, in addition to the XLR microphone equipped with +48V phantom power. With a -20dB pad for added versatility, the Mic Pre 500 microphone preamplifier is ready for anything.Daking Mic Pre 500 Modular Single-Channel Microphone Preamplifier at a Glance:Modular Design to integrate into 500 Series racksClass A, fully-discrete transistor circuitryFully-loaded front panel controls and meteringModular Design to integrate into 500 Series racksThe same preamplifier that made the Mic Pre IV in an affordable, modular format. The Mic Pre 500 fits any standard 500 Series rack unit. Now you can pair one of these awesome sounding microphone preamplifiers with a wide assortment of killer audio components and get exactly what you want from your signal chain. Class A, fully-discrete transistor circuitryThe Mic Pre 500 offers the same professional-quality Class A, fully-discrete transformer circuitry as found in the Mic Pre IV and Mic Pre One. It sounds amazing — the way you'd expect only boutique gear to sound — and since it's modular, you can always expand and add other modules to your sound chain to get the results you're looking for.Fully-loaded front panel controls and meteringBy borrowing the layout design from the Mic Pre IV, Daking ensured that everything you need is right there on the front panel. The instrument/line input is mounted in the front panel for easy access, and the buttons are laid out in a comfortably beneath the input selector, phase switch, pad, and phantom power controls. An adjustable highpass filter lets you control frequencies, and an eight-segment, tri-color LED meter lets you keep an eye on the mix.Daking Mic Pre
