MXL 67i Dual Diaphragm Condenser Microphone Review

MXL 67i Dual Diaphragm Condenser Microphone Feature

  • Two switch selectable diaphragms. One Warm / one Bright^Solid state preamp with balanced transformer output^-10 dB pad and roll-off filter^Comes with mic clip and wooden case^Distinctive green and gold design
  • Two switch selectable diaphragms.
A large, dual diaphragm version of the renowned V67G microphone. Unique in design with 2 selectable diaphragms the V67i is like having two mics in one - with the front side having a warm, lush sound, and the microphone’s back side simulating some of the brighter more airy sounding vintage capsule characteristics of early tube mics of the 60s. With the Flip of a switch, a completely different sound from a single microphone. A bright red LED shines through the grill indicating which capsule is energized. Perfect for those needing several quality microphones but on a limited budget.
