The new Studio Projects VTB-1 is the ultimate in low cost mic pre amplifier technology. Incorporating true class A/B switching, the VTB-1 is a totally discrete circuit. Unique to the VTB-1 is the Inch Tube Drive Inch. The Tube Drive is a variable drive to a 12AX7, that allows the user to blend as little, or as much of the Tube Drive they want. This VTB-1 allows the user the most flexibility of any mic preamplifier in it's price class. The VTB-1 allows you to go from a pristine solid state sound, to any combination of Tube Drive you choose - even hard distortion for guitars and bass. The VU meter reflects the impact of the OPL circuitry when it is activated, which allows more effective fine tuning of the audio signal. The STMLDA3 is designed for use in quality commercial sound, broadcast and recording applications. The 1.2 k balanced input accepts a wide variety of microphone input levels without loading professional lowimpedance microphones. A multiturn gain trimmer allows precise output level adjustment. The output signal is available on three separate balanced line level outputs. Each output may be connected balanced or unbalanced. RDLs exclusive lownoise discrete preamplifier circuitry produces studioquality lownoise performance in an economical preamplifier. Dynamic or condenser microphones may be used with the STMLDA3. Standard 24V phantom is supplied to the input when the supply voltage is connected to the PHM terminal. Optimum operating level is set using RDLs unique dualLED VU meter, located adjacent to the terminal block. A green LED illuminates at 15 dB below a 4 dBu output. The intensity of the green LED progresses from minimum to full intensity at 4 dBu. The adjacent red LED illuminates when the operating level exceeds 4. This makes the STMLDA3 easy to set up without any external test equipment, and operating levels may be monitored at the module. - Power Supply Included
